Fall Field Trip

So thankful for a great day on one of our fall field trips for this year. Got to pick pumpkins, go on a hayride, and pet some of the farm animals. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a blast!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

10 years ago today....God gave us a very special little girl! She has a smile that will light up any room and a giggle through out her day! She is my baby who decided to come on a Sunday morning...and was the easiest delivery yet!  She is a true joy! Very thankful for her in our lives! Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

Sight & Sound

We got to go to my favorite place on earth! Sight & Sound! My dad got the e-mail that they were going to have a "Back to School" discount on their tickets for their show Noah! Well like always my mom did all the work of booking them =)
I think everyone should make a trip to Sight & Sound. Noah was absolutely awesome! From the music, to the lights, even the sets and actors were amazing!

So in the pictures below you will definitely see that we enjoyed a day that was filled with fun!

Family Fun NIght

Family Fun Night

It's been awhile since we were all home on a Friday night with nothing really pressing to do!  So....we had a family fun night with homemade pizza, a long walk, a bonfire, ice cream floats, & a family movie!  The kids loved the bonfire the best!  They love cooking marshmellows over the fire and I think they all ate a ton of them.

It was a perfect night to sit by the fire, have some laughs and enjoy each others company.  As you can see the dogs even enjoyed themselves.

There is nothing like being at home.......relaxing........and making family memories!

Ladies Luncheon & a day of serving together

 "The REAL You ladies luncheon"

This past weekend was SUPER busy!  From set up, to planning, to running the show, to clean up....as a family we all helped in this event!   As you can see the pretty masks were made by Mom and Kelly and they did a WONDERFUL job.  A lot of hard work went into making each one so detailed and beautiful.  It added such a nice touch to this day!

Then we had all the men (and young men) help to serve the ladies.  So that is where Troy and Evan and Dad come into the picture.  They also helped set up and clean up too.

It literally turned into a family affair and that was the best part of it all.  It's great to have days and moments where we all pitch in together to serve others and God.   Making memories together is something we will cherish forever.

Even though it was a long and busy week leading up to this ladies event, it was so well worth it.   We also had a chance to visit with Dr. and Mrs. Shoemaker.   They both are an encouragement to couples in the ministry.  They have a lot of experience in serving in churches, starting churches, and dealing with people a long the way.

So over all!  It was a wonderful day and a wonderful time serving together as a family!

Arrival getting nearer!

We are all getting so excited to meet our newest member of our family!  She is coming in December a week before Christmas!  We were all privileged to go and get a glimpse of her through ultra sound.  It's so neat and beautiful to see her moving, sucking her thumb, smiling, and just squirming as she grows!  We are still in awe of the miracle and blessing that God is given to us.  Even after 7 children it just get more exciting each time.   We are still working on a name for her and can't wait for the day of her arrival to hold her and welcome her to this big, busy, family.....and she'll then experience our fun chaos!
